What a beautiful day it was. I don't typically welcome heat waves during winter but today was different. The hills around Mount Washington are green with new grass, the sky was clear and blue. Lovely. Greta played in the mist of the sprinkler out on the deck while I cleaned up preparing for a party tomorrow. It was a busy day, lots to do. We stayed in all day except for a quick trip to Fresh and Squeezy (as we affectionately call it). While Henry napped Greta and I did some painting. We painted birds. Lovely day indeed.
