redwoods

On our final day in Oregon we drove to California and walked through the redwoods. James and his lovely girlfriend Sarah arrived the night before. It was a beautiful end to our week long trip. Seeing my dad again was wonderful and it made him so happy to see us all, especially the grandkids. It was hard to leave my dad and hard to leave one of the most gorgeous places on our planet. But I have no fear, because we will be back! (One of these days for good!)
