This morning we attempted to get our temporary library card, but alas, the library was closed. Veterans Day. That explained the crowd we saw standing on the side of the road, at the end of the airports runway, watching the WWII planes take off overhead as we stopped at the nearby ATM. The village was also filled with cars and pedestrians, bikers with massive American flags waving from the back of their hogs. Their jackets said Thunder Bulldogs.
So we watched the sea for a bit. Henry likes to keep his distance.
Then we played on the playground with the hordes of school kids not in school.
