boston

About 10 years ago I flew into Boston to meet my friend Sarah.  The following morning we packed up and took a road trip up the coast and into Canada.  It was one of the best trips of my life.  Upon our return to Boston, I flew home.  I didn't get to see much of the city, but what I did see, I loved.

It looks like I'll be getting to know Boston better than I ever thought I would.  Zach will be going there to work on a film in less than two weeks.  The kids and I will follow a few weeks after.  We still don't have details as to exactly when we'll be leaving or where we will be staying.  My little brother gets married on the West Coast in August.  We will fly out shortly after that.

I can't say that I was initially excited about this.  It's been so nice to be home after a long time in the South.  But it's Boston! We'll be there in the peak of the autumn season.  We can take a train to New York!  We've never been.

I'm starting to get excited and to prepare the kiddos.  Greta is looking forward to it, Henry is interested mostly in the plane ride.

Wanna go to Boston with me?

Oh, it would be so exciting to live such a life! To get to know new places and see such different cities and people. But I do understand what you mean by saying you weren't too keen on leaving at first. It's always good to be home after all.

And yet, I like that you're going if that means we'll get to experience Boston with you! :)
