update

Today is the day Irene blows through.  We decided to stay put.  The hurricane has moved west, our house is on a hill, and also very protected by houses on either side of us, one attached and the other 3 feet away.  No tall trees or poles to worry about.  Still, we are following all of the safety measures and being as prepared as we can be.

There's a great farmer's market in town. We missed it this weekend ( though it was still going on), but last week this was our spread!

Zach made this delicious roasted beet salad!  A new favorite.

And the kid's favorite park thus far, Crocker Park, or Rock Park as the kids aptly named it.

This, my friends, is my husband's dream.  To have this bike and ride like this with his wee ones.

Once again, thanks to all that have left Greta comments on her blog.  It's a really cool thing.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

You always show us the beautiful things in the US (some I never thought that could be found in there). Now I'm worried that any of them could suffer.
Be careful, big kisses :)
