the wedding

Greta had a new dress made by Grandma Lisa.

Zach said Henry got the crown for Most Comfortably Dressed.

Grandpa and Greta.

Pete.

Waiting for the ceremony to start.

My brother, the handsome groom.  He said more than once, " I can't believe how happy I am right now."

Crossing the steel bridge over the McKenzie river, a perfect silhouette in shadow.

It was hard to imagine a finer setting for an afternoon wedding.  Kids ran free, there was shade from the giant trees, and surrounding gardens to explore.
It was a beautiful day.

Wonderful everything, Rachel; Greta's little feet in white sandals, your hat and your smile, the lucky couple, the location. And - I wish I had a grandpa that looked like Pete :)
