house tour

It's late coming, but here is a tour of our Marblehead house.  Making this little video was an excuse to use my new upgraded iphone.  I used the 8mm app to make the movie.
The house was built in 1735.  There is another house attached and also an apartment upstairs on the third floor.  At one time this building was a brothel and a tavern.  I imagine that pirates likely spent time here misbehaving and drinking their grog.

I'm not the best film maker, so be warned.  There are a few of you that have been wanting to see the house, so this ones for you.  Without further ado...don't say I didn't warn you...

Beautiful, Rachel; wish I could have saved it. Love the sound of the 8mm that I remember so well from my childhood. Love the sound of your voice (it's just as sweet as I thought it would be), the bright and shiny little people, Ollie who follows you around the house, the backyard with it's chairs and table (is that an angel?), the wallpaper down to the basement (is that newspapers?), the bedrooms (especially the one with the large bookshelf), the view from the window towards the church, and... now I've forgotten half of it. I have to see it again. It's so cosy, and a bit Hitchcock-scary. What an adveture for you all. Good luck with Diana and Charles!
Much love,
Lilli

That was a most enjoyable tour, Rachel, especially the sea- monkeys jumping on the bed! I didn't realise you were leaving. How difficult! It really is like a wonderful fairy tale house with all those nooks and crannies!

Oh, dear Rachel with silver voice,
thank you for that 8 mm film of your Marblehead house (sounds like a tv serie from Great Britain, fits to Diana and Charles).
I've enjoyed it so much that I get really sad as you told you'll leaving in two weeks...
Hugs to you and your kiddos and Ollie,
Love,
Ariane.

Two weeks? To recreate the magic that was the Royal Engagement/Wedding? Can you do it?

You have a very cute voice. I love your house, it looks so comfortable and exciting!

Greta and Henry are so sweet and bright! I love them too! They are just as I imagined. Like little sprites.

Is your dog 'Holly'? She's so loyal and very nimble.

Thanks for sharing all that! I'd love to make a video now too. Are you going back to your usual house in LA? I have a present for the kangaroo and his sister which I'll send later.

How wonderful... our memories will be preserved! Great place and fun movie of it... altho I am absolutely heart in throat terrified every time the kids jump on the bed; so glad you (without too much coercion or tension) got them diverted! Love seeing it and (almost) everyone again -- next time have Greta hold the phone on you!

I really love this video. You did such a good job with it. One shot! No cuts! I am glad to see that your kids like to jump too. The house is amazing. Thanks for turning me onto this application.
