topsfield county fair

Last week the kids and I drove north to the Topsfield Fair.

There were ladies...

and gentlemen...

A very kid friendly bee keeping and honey show.  The kids must have sucked down a hundred honey sticks between them.

Is this guy real?

No, he's safe!

 Aha, alpaca!

Impossible for little hands to resist.

Also impossible to resist, apple crisp with vanilla ice cream.

I was so surprised and impressed that there was a place for nursing mothers.

Greta was surprised there was a lonely hula hoop.

Then the battery on my camera died.  But much more fun was had, I assure you!

How's that alpaca's nose?

SO CUTE! I would have kissed it! And then it would have bitten me, and then there'd be all sorts of trouble.

Greta is a star!
