the south is calling us back

We'll be back on Magazine St. in January!

We were lucky to get an apartment in the same building we were in last time!  The kids are so excited to see the neighbor children again, as well as the horses, the street cars, the museums!  As challenging as it is packing up again, returning to a familiar place makes all of the difference in the world.

I have two sets of beautiful, quality postcards I'd like to give away in honor of our next move (only 2 months this time).  Each set with 6 different photos taken during our time in New Orleans earlier this year.   Leave a comment if you would like them.  I'll choose two winners randomly on Saturday.

Of course I'd like to get one, but I'd feel a bad person because I still haven't sent you back my correspondance to the seaglass. I'm looking for something special, but it's getting hard to find it.

Going back to old houses... sounds so exciting. I used to live in a flat until I was 11 years old, so I spent my whole childhood in there. Then I moved to my current house and we sold the flat. Last year we bought it back, and we went there to clean and rent it.
The feeling of being there was goosefleshing. I loved thinking of all the things I lived there, and me and my sisters were amazed. I remember I cried, not because I wanted to go back there to live, but because of the mixture of nostalgia and happiness everyting together.

You've lived in many different places and houses, so you probably experience that feeling quite often.
Good luck and love for the new adventure!

I'm so excited for you guys! And I can't wait to see and read all about it. I loved all the pictures you posted back then. Oh, and the thought of the kids seeing their friends again is so heartwarming! <3

Did I mention I love your glasses and haircut. New Orleans sounds an exciting place to be stopping for a while. Your kids must love all the new places!
