hey ladies

When she agreed to curate the art show
she had no idea what she was getting herself into.

She was not your average detective.

She would often visit the hospital on her days off.

Despite her tendency for motion sickness,
she knew she had to get on that plane.

After leaving her apartment she had the nagging
feeling that she'd better return, and fast.

The port greeted her with the pungent aroma
of fish and salty sailors.

She agreed to a date only after seeing
him in the swing dance competition.

When the train reached her stop she decided not to get off.

They're all so gorgeous and mysterious. I wish they were my friends.

Salty sailors indeed! What fascinating ladies. They remind me of old 1940's British movie melodramas.
