your own story of venice is quite unnerving... so easy to get lost there. all is well that ends well?
i love how you surprise me here. once upon a time i did a performance with a moon painted on newspaper, and i remember all those moon seas... intriguing. your drawing illuminates in all the right places, and shows us the dark side too... n♥
but it was worth waiting for! I love the scribbling the beautiful dark the sparkling moon I love it all just all so thank you! and could you make this in a poster for me?....
your work makes me think of these black globes one can write on with chalk, naming places didn't take away the magic, here you rather made the moon an even more mysterious place, beautiful work Rachel, xx
I love your idea for this - and I love that the craters were dubbed mare. How wonderful that when they were named astronomers thought there were seas on the moon (and what a shame that there aren't)!

So happy to have come back to check in on your moon! It has an old atlas feeling to it, which I love, yet a modern futuristic touch too. xo Carole
This was a lovely theme to pick, ladies! Lovely work, Rachel.
