Everywhere we walk we find these otherworldly fascinating fungi. This bright orange toadstool had us stopped in our tracks at first sighting. Then we started seeing them popped up everywhere. We have seen several types of shrooms. All strange and beautiful, and just a wee bit scary, in a I'm a poisonous fungus that will kill you if you touch me kind of way. Surely they are not all poisonous and I bet you could throw some of them in your soup. But until I know more about them, their names, and their potential for either death or high cuisine, I will continue to shriek every time Greta reaches for one.
