this moment

A weekly ritual inspired by Soulemama.

These moments are typically shared without words, but I can't be quiet today.

Greta took her first horseback riding lesson yesterday.  I felt so proud of her, she did so well.  I was a little bothered that they decided to give her a camera shy horse since my camera is hard to hide.  Honestly, that they gave her a horse with any issues at all had me a little worried at start.  But it turned out Mawmaw was a gentle giant and perfect for Greta's very first lesson,  I just kept my camera at her rear.

What a great moment! Wonderful picture despite the camera shy horse.
You have a lovely blog. Good luck in your New Orleans adventure.

Hi, stopping by from Soulemama. What a great photo you really captured a special moment. We saw a few folks riding on the beach this weekend and my daughter said she really wanted to try some day...

Yay Greta!

That horse looks to be going the ride speed ... that's the main thing!

lovely straight back!
I love horses they were part of my upbringing they are beautiful animals and sense child and adult forms. My horse was always gentle and well behaved with me and other children but would be a little defiant with adults. It is a lovely childhood memory to have.
