dolls

In preparation for the craft boutique last weekend I was motived to make a collection of dolls.  I made them shorter than dolls I've made in the past, about 7 inches tall.  They were so much fun to make!  I included with them, typed on a small strip of paper,  lines from their stories.  They went like this;

It was a cold and foggy morning...

She waited at the train station for hours.   He never showed.

                                              She was tired of everyone calling her a hero.

She walked into the used book store and couldn't believe her eyes.

Time travel was simply not an option this time.

By the time she reached the cafe they were out of her favorite bagels.

Paris took her by surprise.

She wondered to herself,
'I thought it was impossible to get lost in your own woods.'

The morning her sister left for the city,
she realized that she left behind her favorite red lipstick.

Her parents did not approve.
