drawing challenge / pompom/skirt

When I first learned of Stefanie's theme of pom pom and skirts, the talented Dottie Angel came to mind.
With a new pen in hand and a gesso board to experiment with, I was inspired by her granny chicness and the cover of her wonderful book.   It wasn't quite finished and I had decided not even to share this, but my biggest fan just adores it, so it must be ok.

The gifted Stefanie has more artists on this theme.

Rachel, Dottie Angel was a perfect choice for this theme. I had completely forgotten about her but yes, how perfect. Your drawing is wonderful. Just great and fun to do I bet. *smiles* Norma

Hi Rachel, I'm wondering if your clog wearing girl is making more pompoms with her wool? Love your drawing and her skirt.

Love your drawing, looks like a dutch girl! (Like everybody thinks a dutch girl looks like:-0) It makes me happy and I am longing to the summer with a lot of sunshine.

Oh, Rachel, your pen works are ever brilliant, ever personal. I do believe I would have recognized them anywhere, and Greta is of course ever right. We must listen to our daughters :)

Dear Rachel,
thank God you've listen to your daughter! What a wonderful drawing... again, honey, again!
I like Tif of Dottie Angel very much and recognize her lovely granny style here.
There's rhythm in your lines and I really love your roses on the skirt.

Love
xAriane.
